This! Democrats are just as willing to use the vehicle of fascism when it suits their needs but that's a conversation a lot of people aren't willing to have yet.
Vietnam and Afghanistan disprove whatever point you're trying to make about the military being able to occupy cities they're not wanted in. You can't control a city with tanks and planes, you need boots on the ground. The IRA brought one of the most powerful governments to the negotiating table and they weren't nearly as armed as the American people. Nonviolence will get you killed if violence isn't on the table, the old carrot and stick. If you ain't got a stick and aren't willing to use it then your carrot is a joke.
Not at all what I was getting at but you've proven that you aren't united enough to stand against this tyranny and are still okay with hanging each other out to dry as long as you get to go home safe and sound. Agree with them or not but the Bundy standoff is a prime modern example of armed civilians uniting and running off law enforcement. Cowards are just speed bumps on the road to fascism.
