He's not exactly wrong, though. Trump pulled the same scam in several states...which automatically makes it a federal matter. However, I disagree that it shouldn't also be prosecuted at the state level.
If they violated state law, they should be held accountable in state court. It would guarantee the guilty parties wouldn't be eligible for a presidential pardon.
AI should never be used to compensate for laziness, incompetence or stupidity. If you aren't capable of doing your own job without a crutch, then you shouldn't be doing that job.
The fact that everything he's describing as "the Antichrist" also perfectly describes himself, should be obvious to anyone with a shred of self-awareness. It blows my mind how many of these so-called "tech geniuses" are actually just really stupid people with a lot of money to burn.
What a shitty article. They only stated the 1st half of his statement providing the reason he dropped the case. It wasn't because the case never should have been brought (as the Trump statement says), but because the case is more suitable as a Federal case like the one Jack Smith was pursuing (and still can, once Trump is no longer president).
If this bubble bursts while Trump is still in office, then they will absolutely bail them out. Fraud is the common denominator for all Trump's actions.
As if she's going to care. These people have all sold their souls for this. Sacrificing a family member for "the cause", is more of a badge of honor than anything else.
No one was actually going to lose their jobs...what they did was illegal. Back pay was also a guarantee...that's just how shutdowns work. And there was $26B in funds available for the federal government to use for SNAP...they just acted like they didn't know how to access it.
The Democrats gave away their leverage for things that were already going to happen.
Add frozen veggies. Just toss 'em in the water and let it boil. Add your noodles and seasoning packet as directed. You can usually find different "blends" at the supermarket. They're all fairly cheap and will last a long time in your freezer.
This is it exactly. He just wanted to gut the agencies that were actively investigating him or were threatening to regulate his businesses. There was no altruistic motive behind any of it. He paid for the access he needed to destroy that infrastructure.
Definitely not the kind of thing you'd have to worry about if you worked for a real government agency. You might get laid off or fired, but as long as you're doing your job, you won't be prosecuted for it.
However, if your "job" involves doing something illegal, that might require a pardon...maybe you should think twice about volunteering for that position.
