    A backdoor is a typically covert method of bypassing normal authentication or encryption in a computer, product, embedded device (e.g. a home router), or its embodiment

    Not very covert if it is offered to a user.If MS gives up the key that is stored plainly in their system, that is a problem. But not a backdoor.This is quite literally the police knocking on the front door and demanding the key.

    So far I havent had an issue with sites accepting my domain (and it's not a very common one to start with).The only issue I have faced so far is with some sites seemingly unable to fathom how one would want to switch their email.Looking at you IoI Interactive

  • Objectively true.We just did it this week with Windows 11 25H2 with the regular OOBE setup.

    Not everywhere is a corporate hellscape like the US
