  • I can't fathom how these people can be so short sighted. Everyone knows it's them and their genocidal policies that are to blame. They will be the first in the cooking pot when the supermarket shelves start to empty.

  • When the food starts running out, legal immunity won't do shit.

  • I genuinely find it hard to comprehend that it is adults making these decisions.

  • Because the people who organised it didn't like the new financial laws being implemented by the EU. Billions of pounds worth of dodgy money is laundered through the UK every year. I can't recall the exact details but the EU were implementing laws that made money transfer more transparent. So this would have meant that all this dirty money would be traceable, and Tories didn't want this being exposed because it was their mates and families all in it up to their ears.

  • It's gone so well for us in the UK, I can't imagine the entire organisation being asset stripped and then held for random at the taxpayer's expense.

  • Well, if I'm honest I tried to install Win11 before Linux but it was such a pain in the arse I gave up. The installer couldn't pick up the SSD so I had to download drivers onto USB and install them half way through the wizard. THEN, it wouldn't pick up the WiFi card so I bypassed that to get the installer to finish, and to top it off, even after I'd installed all the drivers, it still didn't pick it up, not in the device manager, nowhere, as if it didn't exist. So I gave up. Linux installed first time and although it's not quite perfect yet it's functional enough for me to actually use the flipping thing! Haha

I've installed every Windows since 95 on various machines and never had so much trouble. Win11 is complete crap. And Microsoft are a bunch of dickheads for forcing it when there was literally nothing wrong with Win10.

  • Yeh, that's fixed it. Thanks. Strangely, the bugs I was experiencing lad night also seem to have resolved themselves.

  • Omg. It was that easy! Thank you.

  • And I now I use Linux. Will never go back to Windows after this nonsense.

  • I am glad I am not the only one

  • I would not F Elon, even in that context.

  • In this instance, yes, but which is why I said the cafe worker should have an internal bin for customer usage. In most other cases there is no one on site for weeks at a time.

  • It's not like paper and plastic wrappers are heavy or bulky. Just hold onto it or put it your pocket until you get home or find a bin elsewhere.

  • Social media has made mad men of most of us, unfortunately.

  • Because that would mean employing someone to empty them regularly, and as most woodland is few and far between in this country most woodland owners deem that an unnecessary expense.

  • I used to work for the Woodland Trust and believe that this is the right thing to do. Bins in woodlands do not get emptied often and will often overflow and attract unwanted pests like rats. Rats will also eat the eggs of ground nesting birds and cause other environmental issues.

If they are selling food on site then the food vendor should have a bin that their customers can use inside their cabin/cafe and dispose of the waste daily as part of the service.

  • No. You must agree with me.
