  • It sucks. They're awful. She refuses to build a socialist org that brings others to positions of leadership, it's all cult of personality

  • The media didn’t cover it so I felt good about it. The kids in cages continued under Biden

  • What does that have to do with what I said? Local caucuses vary drastically depending on the already existing leftist groups in that area.

  • It wasn't us it was the company we contracted out to. Oh great

  • This is all very true. Also, the BPP was more influenced by Du Bois and Garvey than Marx in terms of theory.

  • This is just being sectarian for no reason

  • Speaking my language with these jams

  • And light a candle

  • I don't think I get made fun for it, but it just becomes a topic and bc the topic of food is so frequent it becomes a frequent topic and becomes a way people view me as a Vegan.

I usually say I don't think my enjoyment of food should be at the cost of killing and torturing other animals. People get a bit defensive sometimes and explain to me why they aren't, but it is what it is.

  • Thank you for sharing

  • Many such cases. I think the best way to bring about change is to join groups like Red Star (I believe is the name) within DSA who have an organized plan to push DSA left. Arguing with libs who are active because they want to have a friend group doesn't really work well.

  • huh

  • I have never met a Maoist who opposes AES.

  • Self declared Orthodoxy Marxists believe the same thing about Lenin.

  • This doesn't disprove what I was saying. Which is in reference to the post where the person on camera said the BPP was Marxist Leninist. (In reference to a fight between MLs and Maoists.)

Mao was who they aligned with the most, even if there weren't "Maoists" at this time. I wasn't fooled by anyone I just thought it was odd they brought up them being MLs in this context.

  • I understand, that’s why I said were more. They also never claimed the ML title either.

  • Black Panther Party were more Maoist than MLs

  • This does not sound like they agreed to give up all arms and to disband Hamas. Those were the two sticking points in the initial negotiations. Any news on those points?

  • The DSA as it currently stands is not a real organization. Most people who joined have been in the past 5 years. They were all libs before that. The fact they aren’t all MLs is not surprising and not even to be expected. Going into these groups and pushing the people and organization left is still a good thing. And I support all comrades who do that important work.
