I've complained about this before and the response I got was along the lines of "it's a feature!"
Please get rid of the 'feature' that automatically scrolls the page down to the comments when you open a link.
For all the reasons that weren't good enough to get rid of it before, but now also I noticed that if you're typing a comment LIKE I PRESUME IS THE POINT OF THE 'FEATURE' IT FUCKING DELETES EVERYTHING YOU WROTE TO THAT POINT. IT'S FUCKING INFURIATING
YEAH SURE I'D LOVE TO SCROLL BACK UP TO WHERE I FUCKING WAS AND JUST ERASE THIS FRACTION OF A WORD AND START OVER
WHY ARE WE TRYING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF SCROLLING???
