  • I dont expect anything concrete to come out from this meeting, except more embarrassing moments from von der leyen, mark rutte...

  • Its rhetorical question, right?

  • I think protests would have been successful by now, if they weren't shunned by the eu. So I wouldn't say that the protests are unsuccessful because they are peaceful, but because they aren't getting the political support from abroad

  • I think that the protests are heading in that direction, as government becomes more violent towards protesters, their demands change

  • OP can you give us an archived version

  • Yes, I know that, but eu takes its time before taking "appropriate" action

  • You have a point, eu so far has done nothing to stop the genocide in gaza, furthermore they are actively selling weapons to israel, which they know will be used in the genocide. (Rules for thee, not for me)

  • Just wait, this time in the next decade, eu will do something about it, hopefully (eu bureaucracy at its finest)

  • Eu has been relying on foreign powers for too long, its time to cut that dependence (Im not just talking about russia and china, but also usa, whom in the last six months went from ally to adversary)

  • Its just hard to belive that we are supposed to be "the good guys"/somehow better that russia, china, serbia when we do the same sh*t as they do. Where’s the democracy, freedom of speech... all of this is being denied more and more in eu and usa. I was just trying to show duplicity of eu, if it came out as whataboutism Im sorry for that. Furthermore Im not saying the criticism isnt valid, It just sounds hypocritical coming from eu

  • What Im trying to say is, that usa and eu are also contributing to global warming-not just china and russia

  • Cutting our dependence on spacex, one launch at a time

  • Yes, that is my hope as well—I hope we become truly independent militarily, digitally, and in terms of resources, so that we may finally become more than just a playground for other countries.

  • Just questioning eu's duplicity, as long as eu does it, its ok, but when somebody else does it, it's the biggest threat to international security

  • I understand what you mean, but I dont think getting europe hocked only on oil and gas again is good idea, given what happened with russia and although we cant count only on renewable energy, because it cant work all-year round, we also shouldn't abandon it completely

  • Russia and china do not fall under the western countries category, my previous comment was meant for western countries and how the majority of them realigned their green policy, after usa changed theirs

  • Thats true, stupidity isnt limited by borders, but without trump in the office, realigning green policy would be unthinkable

  • A lot of western countries are following usa lead, when they started denouncing their environment policy and started to increase their gas production/consumption other western countries just blindly followed (pro-usa idiots really don't like facing facts)

  • This criticism would hold more weight, if eu wasn't doing the same thing with palantir (pro-usa idiots really don't like facing facts)
