That a patch makes the massacre of women and children excusable? Somehow a piece of fabric makes it okay to kill civilians?
IF that guy is actually wearing that patch, fine. Prosecute him. Doesn't excuse, justify, or invalidate the MOUNTAIN of evidence of Russian war crimes.
All we can do is push back with facts. Invariably, their arguments devolve into whataboutism and name-calling because they know there aren't any facts that back up their bullshit.
As long as they're the ones crashing out, we come out of those interactions looking better than they do.
He's absolutely right. Hoarding wealth is a mental illness, we just turn a blind eye to people who have it because what they're addicted to is what society runs on.
Did you miss the part where I said both parties were shit?
Absolutely Democrats need to step up, clean house, and get their priorities in order, but needing to revitalize and organize the party doesn't involve going back 20 years and pointing fingers at what people should have done or said back then.
What I'm interested in is what they're going to propose and vote for going forward.
Why do people always act like it's such a gotcha that Democratic politicians have sucked?
They're all fucking worthless, both parties.
But only one is in power right now and actively tearing down the structures of our democracy. Until that's dealt with, I'm sorry, but addressing shit someone did in office 20 years ago is just not the priority.
Exactly. Why risk lives escalating to violent resistance when the opposition is doing such a great job tearing themselves apart?
Republicans officials are leaving the party every day, Trump has backed off the National Guard, the Epstein files debacle is only growing in strength, entrenched party seats are flipping every time they're up for election......why interrupt your enemy when they're in the middle of making a mistake?
Let them fight it out. Whoever's left at the end will be weaker and easier to defeat.
Just a reminder to any DC area contractors who may or may not be involved in upcoming unnamed construction projects: a couple bags of sugar or 2-liters of cola added to a truckload of concrete will drastically alter setting times and compromise the final strength of construction.
Just a fun little tidbit to tuck away in your brain for later.
Not to mention that, when the Nazis overthrew the structures of their government, you could ask any supporter and they'd tell you all about how Hitler loved the German people and was passionate about restoring their national dignity.
It's getting harder and harder for even Trump's supporters to feel like he cares about them or America, let alone any undecideds that they're trying to pull in with this ad campaign.
"I'm a real person not an NPC!"
Someone sounds upset. I would imagine the cognitive dissonance of trying to defend genocide gets pretty stressful after a while.
You have my sympathies.
