I'm a fan of this, because it reduces summed middleman fees as consumers gravitate towards the option with the least fees; e.g. cash.
Middleman fees are inventions by capitalist scum. Rent-seeking on every single transaction is a capitalist's dream.
If merchants don't do this, we end up in a situation where the fee is distributed across everyone, which is first of all unfair to those who don't get the chargeback protection, and second of all still brings money to rent-seeking middlemen.
Consumer protection should be nationalized by law, not handled by third-party capitalist companies.
After the Android 12 update on the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OS became about 400% more "Chinese Android skin", which was also the time where they merged OxygenOS and HydrogenOS. The things you will miss from OnePlus are battery life and charging speed; everything else is significantly better on Pixels.
My understanding is that qualia are how a "consciousness" experiences something, and I disagree with the notion of a consciousness being a definable thing in general. It's not a scientific meaning so you can never unambiguously talk about anything in the context of qualia.
Nothing's releases this year were underwhelming unfortunately
