  • may the toe crushing of bystanders begin

  • i add water in this case; however, if water will make it a but too thin then you can add a water+corn starch mix to keep it thick.

edit: tbh, usually my "water" is water will some chicken or beef bouillon in there

  • that is great! terminal use is not for everyone, so i only recommend using it if people feel comfortable with it or think it can save them time (and during troubleshooting, but im usually helping at that point).

my wife diesnt like using the terminal and has successfully gone without using it (minus me setting things up for her in the first few months), and that has given me a lot mire confidence in recommending linux to those that just want to use a computer and want it to "just work"

  • they get kubuntu or fedora with ~3 months of support from me. it can sometimes take 6 months if the person doesnt really use their computer often, tho.

  • mario was more expensive than baseball grape, so i smelled like baseball grape.

  • yes, i use all-purpose flour (same as plain flour, just american); these have that cookie texture, not the cakey texture (a small rise, but not a ton)

  • RATM was really good when i was growing up; i really enjoyed the music, and it felt like it made me a rebellious kid.

now that i am an adult, those old songs hit pretty hard; i love their music because its true.

  • might as well just hand it over, lol. this is my ingredient list:

    1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter2-1/3 Cup Flour1 Teaspoon Salt1 Teaspoon Baking Soda1/4 Cup Sugar1 Cup Brown Sugar2 Eggs2 Tablespoons Milk1-1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla1 Bag (~11-12oz) of Choco Chips (substitutable)

edit: note: 2 eggs are for 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk

edit 2: my steps... might as well....

    #Melt Butter

melt the butter and let it cool slightly

    #Mix 1

Mix together flour, salt, baking soda

putting onto paper plate after mixing works well here...

    #Mix 2

In mixer, add butter, sugar, & brown sugar, and beat for 2 minutes

    #Mix 3

Mix together 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, milk, vanilla

    #Mix 3 & 2

    Mix 3 into mix 2 on slow/stir

    #Mix Plate

Slowly pour Mix 1 into main mix, make sure it fully mixes

    #Add Chips

Pour in your chocolate (or whatever type) chips; mix on slow/stir until combined, then turn off.

    #Chill

Chill in the fridge for 1 hr

    #Prep & Bake

Split into 24 cookies. Use parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375F.

2 sheets per bake swap sheets 1/2 way through

  • i think i am using the same; i use what is called "all-purpose flour" in usa

  • oh, saw another problem here. use baking soda for regular choco chip cookies.

baking soda == baking powder without the rising element. the acidity of the cookie will bring less fluffiness/cakiness than the full rise from powder. for a reference on amount (sorry, i am american so i use cheeseburger measurements...), i use 2-1/3c flour to 1 teaspoon baking soda; not cut with baking powder

edit: i think i said that wrong. baking soda has the rising agent, but not the activator for the rising agent. baking powder has the activator.

  • too cakey == too much flour. too thin == not enough flour. pull the cookies 1 minute before their full time on your first run because cookies are better slightly under than slightly over.

tell the doneness by looking at the bottom of the cookie - that is the color that will tell uou the most about their doneness <3

  • though these secret rolls remove the comedy behind the kronk stealth theme music (emporer's new groove) upon critical failure, it does help with metagaming.

  • i can remember dressing up as Hans & Franz (an old SNL skit) with one of my good friends long ago. it was a great costume idea because it was sweatpants + swearshirt with pillows for insulation 👍

  • i made a joke about the tylenol-autism thing to my wife when this first started getting some press, "i guess J&J didnt bribe trump with enough money..."

i see now that it wasn't a joke, just too soon to say it for realsies.

  • a degree in mathematics should not validate my correctness about health.

  • bring a burner phone 👍

  • i said, "i think everyone deserves to eat" to my mother a year or two ago, and she said that i was being a bit extreme.

i cant imagine having a mindset of wanting other people to die for no reason :(

edit: and as i keep reminding my friends: if you see someone stealing food, no you didnt.
