  • If your TV has a crappy upscale then you can look into external hardware, however seems odd this is making it choppy, does your TV have a low latency GAME mode?

  • I’ll have to check the display mode on the tv and see if any other options exist. I did play it in Fill mode which kept the 4:3 resolution but I feel like that sorta defeats the purpose of using hdmi.

    Well no? You are getting a digital signal which will be MUCH clearer than analog RCA.. Upscaling / fill mode is the Only way to make it bigger.

    The jacked up F150 still has laws about its road worthiness, still can be taken off the road, especially if the operator does something stupid with it.

    Ya the more you talk about it the BETTER it sounds that we get more specific laws about guns just like cars.

    Lets add inspections when you cross provinces.

    Restrict its use if too loud.

    What if the operator shoots it too rapidly? Get a license revocation for a period of time maybe longer?

  • They used to be more lax, the current rules are more strict because it IS a problem and there are studies showing it to be. Hence the lower BAC limits.

    • Why? this is important as it will probably eliminate some options.
    • What? What do you expect? Do you have specific clients you want to work (iOS mail app?, Samsung mail app? etc), are you good with a 3rd party app? Web interface only? Do you have or want a custom domain or are you migration to @newcompanyhostingme.com?
    • Price? What is your budget? Outside a hand full of options that sell your info to be free almost everything else has a cost.

  • What percentage of people you've met do you consider a genuinely good person? Someone you could trust your life with if need be?

  • There is a big difference between a good person that will not intentionally do you harm and is happy to help vs one that would enter risk to save you in life or death.

    I know lots of people I am confident would do me no harm and treat me well. I know a few that do not care / can’t be trusted.

    As for my life that is fairly limited to select family and a few friends.

  • In my home lab I have them separate the OPNSense box has full performance on its own HW, only needs to be patched once in a while and is super stable.

    I have managed to crash / lockup one of my proxmox hosts at least once while messing around with HW past though or by giving a guest enough cores to slow the whole box down.

    Family never gets interrupted playing games or streaming Netflix with my lab separate from the critical internet service.

    New versions of OPNsense installed with ZFS support snapshots before upgrading natively sort of taking one of the promox vm tricks out of the pro list making it neutral.

    Really have to look at them based on series / tech.

    None of the big spinning rust brands really can be labeled as unreliable across the board
