  • I am not sure why people subscribe to Music streaming services. My ex said it was to discover new music, but I do that via YT and friends. Other than that I just have 10 to 20 GB of music on my phone. No subscription, always available. Connects to all my devices. I just don't get the point. Maybe if I didn't have a PC it would be slightly more difficult to set up and add/remove music. But other than that?

    A large preferably glass or metal bowl, and a small ramp up to said bowl. Put some sugar in the bowl and the next day there'll be some roaches trapped in the bowl. Empty and repeat...

  • I'm pretty sure that writing something down has been proven to be helpful for retaining the information.

    But that study is probably 50 years old, and people learn and retain information differently.

    So I wouldn't be surprised if using a computer to take notes is just as effective as writing it, especially for younger generations.

  • As a full stack web dev I've been using AI off and on and while it seems really good at basic markup language, it almost never gets PHP or JS right.

    It suggests weird ways of doing things that either don't work, are completely asinine, use some random unknown libraries, or is just outdated.
