  • I think the democrats would almost certainly rather lose an election than sell out Bill Clinton.

  • They exactly like us*

  • Maybe I'm just a hater of bot rss accounts because I sort by new on all, but I kind of find these bots annoying. I go to post a Mongabay article and it's already been posted by a bot. I use an RSS feed so I don't really see the point of them and it kind of takes the fun away for me from being the first one to post something on lemmy. But they can do whatever they want, it just feels a little soulless to interact with a post that was posted by a bot. But, I know I can just mute them, just posting out loud.

  • ext4 would be normal for linux and windows is usually formatted as ntfs, there's nothing abnormal with the partitions if you were trying to do just mint, unless the install messed with something weird in the bios I can't imagine why it wouldn't boot if you erased the drive while installing mint only, the installation should select that partition to boot without you having to do anything extra

  • glad to see the Lincoln project is still wasting rich people's donations

  • Tyler Oliveira fucking sucks, don't promote him. Judging by your posting history you do not align with this guy politically, take a look at his recent videos, he's accompanying ICE doing deportations.

  • often times if you had backed up any important files before doing this you are gonna waste less time by just doing a clean reinstall, but you can definitely try to troubleshoot fixing the boot

Here is a good video on various ways to dual boot, you can definitely do in on one drive, but I would personally recommend having each os on a seperate drive if you have more than one

many games with kernel lvl anticheat will not work on Linux, but most others will you can check specific games on here

  • I would strongly disagree, half the reason AI is being so pushed right now is big business wants to extract growth regardless of how many people are employed and how many people are alive. There is no logical reason to be an anti-natalist, when the problem is quite clearly capitalism, not the amount of people, that's just rebranded Malthusianism.

  • I personally think most people in the west are far too alienated and bought off to consider any kind of resistance. I think you really need the intersection of having community and things getting worse economically for that to happen. I think young people are much more class conscience and want to see class consciousness reflected in their media, but for a lot of people who engage with that media the most it would influence them to do is vote for a Bernie or Zohran style progressive candidate and maybe show up to a protest.

  • Bless your heart
