  • More the barefoot shoes, like vivo barefoot and whitin. Just know, if you are doing a ton of walking without conditioning and/or streching, you are gonna get hurt. So the alternative is zero drop shoes, like Altra.

  • Why, why did you consume the oats?!

  • Most don't, no (US). It just goes to your estate, so if you have anything of value that will be sold to help with it before it goes to any of your loved ones.

  • Depends on the location. A lot of them just have a cop car in the parking lot, or the cops will eat in late. I wish they paid their staff more, but it's really hard to beat their prices.

  • I'm from the south and have been to a quite a few of those states (and the ones I haven't been to, their reputation precedes them). I say this because I wouldn't really recommend visiting them. Georgia is a pretty good example, as most of the state kinda sucks, outside of Atlanta and maybe Savanna. A lot of these states are just really poor, and it drastically affects their living standards and the people who live there. They might not be a complete monolithic block, but they're similar more often than not.

  • It's generally not as bad as Mississippi, and it's forgotten more often. Similar with Louisiana, but more issues with weather and water there.

  • Yep. Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and most of Georgia (Atlanta is pretty different, thus is better).

  • Don't forget salad. Outback is largely one of the worst if you're vegetarian unfortunately. Most steakhouses at least have a few vegetable sides and can make a meal out of them.

  • Auto I believe, but that still might be useful. They have access to Cummins engines, which are basically one of the only manufacturers that meet the next phase of ghg emissions requirements. Plus since Honda seems to be retooling their factories for solid state batteries, it might allow them to produce some stop gap evs without relying on other manufacturers like GM (Hondas latest is just a rebadged Chevy Blazer EV).

  • Nissan holds a majority stake with Mitsubishi. That actually might be worth something to Honda, and they also seem to be able to produce some cheap evs, like the leaf which Honda doesn't seem able to do currently.

  • Make peas, not war.

  • Isn't this the second time they're trying it? Has his party finally started playing ball?

  • Seconding this, have made many recipes from it and generally is my go to when first searching for a recipe.

  • Well, at least the children...

  • Phys.org or maybe nature? They're mostly just seem to be reposts of journals or Nature articles, but they don't usually have drama and can often be rather interesting. They aren't necessarily about technology, just scientific advances which is a nice change from all of the enshitification news that almost any tech hub is blaring.

  • Yes, but it doesn't have Florida man. Although I'd suspect Mississippi has higher chance than California.

  • I was fully expecting a motorcycle, not this awesomeness.

  • OK, I gotta ask, what is that wheel attached to?

  • I mean, he's driving a charger soo....
