Yeah, I quickly realize that while I don't care about the word and don't really care if it does get deleted and censored. It just reminds me of why I practice privacy and don't really keep or create accounts. I realize why I don't express myself. I sometimes wonder if I should delete my Lemmy account. I barely use it. I only did it to stick it to reddit at first but now I have no idea why. I don't even know why I made this post.
It always is benefiting some rich guy and at some point I will get censored or whatever because freedom of speech is non-existent on the internet. AI now being used to censor negative views or posts highlighting darker aspects of humanity. Even more words or combination of words are banned on other platforms. They only want to make everything look great and never want it to be negative unless it makes them more money, which they will wait until later to retroactively remove them or only keep some in case people notice their old posts are deleted. Have to make it confusing as ever cause that is a money maker.
I use a French press. It really is super nice because all the coffee can mix with water then you press it down to filter it. No need for a funnel and wasteful filter paper.
You do realize a decade is a very short time for something at a scale this large with complex interactions that needs to be reliable, efficient and reproducible at scale. Plus long term tests take time because it is a factor to many clients to see if they can handle at least a decade.

American football was simply more popular back then too, but a little less now in terms of ratio, but the crowd has still grown instead of shrinking/stagnantion
Windows 11 "out of box experience" has been made specifically to further control and limit options in favor of value added options. Such as making online services more integrated into an ever bloated OS. The only option I know about setting up the first account as local was to disable the internet connectivity check they are enforcing now using a command prompt that required going well out of my way to get and even I saw how much they pressure you into going along with their demands/instructions instead of allowing freedom/open use of anything you wish to use.
It's so odd because even though it is possible to do more advanced or finer tuned control, Microsoft is intentionally ignoring talking about it and therefore not even offering those options.
i like it, tbh I barely use the phone. I need more RAM on it for it to be more useful. It's crazy that even 8GB is not good enough. Dam Samsung bloat. I wish I had a stylus option for Google pixel or something that can take a privacy respecting OS.

This is the craziest part. They really make you feel uncomfortable and not really part of the system. You are just a subscription and nothing more, you get nothing, you own nothing, and you might as well give up and keep paying for a service you might be able to use
There are definitely some maps on the new planet where I seemingly realized that pausing was strictly necessary as the waves start overwhelming the defenses and units to the point that I either run out of resources or they somehow sneak one drone in that wrecks havoc on the supply lines that are already packed with not enough space to add the turrets that can deal with the advanced units. Eventually, it really became a race to finish as fast as possible. Also, the staggered unlocks or limited resources on some maps were brutal.
