  • It would technically fall under video game accessories, so I guarantee there are people who might want one because they collect that type of stuff.

    I think one of the closest comparisons I could make are people who buy retro games/consoles just to display them and never actually use them.

  • Can attest to liquor being cheaper in some states. My parents have crossed state lines in order to do things and they can get not only cheaper liquor but also slightly cheaper gas across state line as well.

  • Just looked up the leak for a steam controller 2 and I think I'd rather stick with my wired PowerA switch controller. I am not a big fan of the original steam controller design and personally don't like the design of the leak.

    I get some people would absolutely love it, but I'm definitely in the "Do Not Buy" crowd. Not even to say I own one.

  • You got me to look him up, which also made me look up the guy I'm thinking of. Two completely different people, but I still stand by the fact that in that picture he looks, to me, like Robert Fuller.

    Edit: after looking at more images, he looks less like Robert Fuller to me.

  • If anything, I only use ungoogled chromium if a website refuses to work in Firefox. Had a financial fraud and identity theft scam the other day hosted on a Singaporean form service thing that I had to report using that browser because the send report button wasn't working on FF.

    As much as I don't like it, it's probably a good idea to have a backup chromium based browser like ungoogled chromium just in case. Just be sure to not be like me and actually have it in some sort of sandbox rather than running the flatpak on its own.

  • The computer itself? Safe! The dangerous AI XANA? Absolutely would destroy the climate. Literally was overcharging a power cylinder thing in order to send a powerful enough charge to a nuclear power plant in order to cause nuclear fallout in one episode.

  • I've been eyeing that one. Ever since maybe a couple months ago I've haven't been liking Auxio as much due to UI changes and Symphony has definitely caught my eye.

    Edit: I was thinking something else, but Symphony looks promising after giving it a look at on f-droid.

  • How does the college not require at least a video interview to initiate classes?

    Not quite initiation, but at the community college I attend, if you do not attend class and make an effort by doing at least one assignment by the end of the first week, you will be dropped from the classes. Get dropped from them all and I'm fairly certain no financial aid for you.

    Also, for the first 40 credits, the college requires you to see a guidance counselor in order to sign up for classes, either via a zoom meeting or in person. They probably have ways around all that, but it's at least a step in the right direction.
