The problem with starting a 3rd party is actually getting enough support. Dems and Repubs are so entrenched as the 2 primary parties that it would take a miracle to get enough voters to follow a 3rd party. That, and I can almost guarantee both Dems and Repubs would absolutely go full bipartisan on making sure 3rd parties don't get any real power so the status quo of the 2 parties fighting to the death can continue.
I would definitely vote for Bernie, but it would feel like Sisyphus pushing the boulder: an uphill battle with no end.
As someone who doesn't have the time, skill, or knowledge to audit open source projects, I agree on the trusting more popular open source keyboards (and by extension popular open source projects in general).
The people who voted for him unironically ain't the brightest bulbs. I guarantee they'll see Tr*mp blame Dems and run with it.
Even if they do see them going off the rails, there's no guarantees we'll be able to do anything about it. For all we know, he could easily turn the country into a dictatorship where nobody gets to vote for anything anymore. As Tr*mp has said before, He'Ll OnLy Be A dIcTaToR dAy OnE (or something along those lines). In English, I'm positive that translates to "Democracy Is Dead".
In the spirit of all insurrection, we could install a leader. There's a little less than 2 months to organize. May not be a lot of time, but there certainly is time. And if nothing else, trying to force someone to be president, so long as they ain't one of the fascists, isn't great but it isn't the absolute worst option. What would make it even better is if we got support from people like Sanders for something like this, even though I'm fairly certain he wouldn't agree to it.
That's why I was referring to the average people doing it, but instead of right wing fascists storming the capital to overthrow democracy, it's Dems storming it to save democracy.
We already know humans are demonic. We're the closest things to God and Satan, after all. Especially since neither actually exist outside some ancient fairytale books about them.

The way I see it, it's not too late to organize another Jan. 6th. If I had the means and ability to make it over and help with a Democrat version, I would no questions asked. Anything for the sake of preventing that fascist from re-entering the oval office. I'm at the point where I'm all for Dems going violently radical against the fascists.
If one does get organized, I'd be willing to chip in a small amount of money out of my financial aid in order to aid the right side of history.

Not gonna lie, I was super confused why F-Droid was updating thunderbird beta on my device when I was updating apps a few days ago. Took me a while to realize k9 was apparently changed to thunderbird beta.
As long as they're only a minute or two off, I don't mind as much. Especially since I mostly use my desktop/laptop/phone/other Internet connected devices most of the time if I need accurate readings.
