  • It's just a joke bro.

  • "I dreamed I saw my maternal grandmother sitting by the bank of a swimming pool, that was also a river. In real life, she had been a victim of Alzheimer’s disease, and had regressed, before her death, to a semi-conscious state. In the dream, as well, she had lost her capacity for self-control. Her genital region was exposed, dimly; it had the appearance of a thick mat of hair. She was stroking herself, absent-mindedly. She walked over to me, with a handful of pubic hair, compacted into something resembling a large artist’s paint-brush. She pushed this at my face. I raised my arm, several times, to deflect her hand; finally, unwilling to hurt her, or interfere with her any farther, I let her have her way. She stroked my face with the brush, gently, and said, like a child, “isn’t it soft?” I looked at her ruined face and said, “yes, Grandma, it’s soft."

  • What are ten people going to do with one car?

  • Which will result in even more people not coming to a complete stop if they think they can get away with it, and that will result in more accidents.

  • In my home state I "earn" one paid hour sick time for every 30 hours worked. I get no other paid time off because it isn't required by law. Working for the same company in a different state I get exactly zero paid time off because that state doesn't have a law requiring it. Tell me again how that isn't zero paid time off.

  • Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?

  • You know full well that's not what people are talking about when they are pushing AI currently. There are plenty of great tools that have been around for awhile, but these bullshit chatbots that are wasting resources are not useful tools.

  • At the rate it's going to will result in the death of at least as many people. Stop your pearl clutching, and read my actual statement, or get offended and ignore what I'm saying, doesn't matter to me. Little Nazi techbros wasting massive resources on a toy that's more damaging than good doesn't deserve discourse.

  • Seriously someone here merely asked why people didn't like Nazis here and he had a dozen down votes before the first comment even came in. It's clearly just a trigger for some people.

I'm not saying AI is a bad as Nazis, although a lot of it's proponents are, but maybe you can see how people might have a visceral reaction to it and not want to "discuss it's merits".

  • Found the Manhattanite. You guys hate to admit anything important exists outside of Manhattan.

  • How quaint.

  • Amelie

  • I refuse to admit anything after the first season exists.

  • The works of the roots of the vines, of the trees, must be destroyed to keep up the price, and this is the saddest, bitterest thing of all. Carloads of oranges dumped on the ground. The people came for miles to take the fruit, but this could not be. How would they buy oranges at twenty cents a dozen if they could drive out and pick them up? And men with hoses squirt kerosene on the oranges, and they are angry at the crime, angry at the people who have come to take the fruit. A million people hungry, needing the fruit- and kerosene sprayed over the golden mountains. And the smell of rot fills the country. Burn coffee for fuel in the ships. Burn corn to keep warm, it makes a hot fire. Dump potatoes in the rivers and place guards along the banks to keep the hungry people from fishing them out. Slaughter the pigs and bury them, and let the putrescence drip down into the earth.

  • Wow! I didn't realize Sony invented sweeping vistas and giant creatures.

  • Which ones? I got a set of Moondrop Para2s, and while I love the clarity on treble forward music I still go back to my MDR-CD770s for anything more bass heavy.

  • I think it's a MiSTer.
