    That's silly, and at the very least probably gonna cause unconscious bias to second language speakers, neurodivergent people & just anyone who doesn't communicate via text as much as we do

    For the stats and a nice experience, you've got Roon obviously, but that's kinda pricey

    Plex tracks some data and still doesn't need the syncing since it's a server based model

    I've never used it but there's a foobar2000 alternative for Linux called Deadbeef, that'll probably do it
