Rebates shouldn't be on vehicles, but on charging infrastructure. The current infrastructure is woefully inadequate, and the infrastructure will last many decades, a car lasts maybe 1 to 2 decades.Electric charging being cheaper than fuel should be the primary financial incentive. HOV Lane access, and other benefits should be enough to bolster demand.The subsidies on luxury vehicles, Tesla's specifically, were a harmful policy mistake that have given idiots talking points that will be used years from now.

TBF, Motorola is a bit misleading. Nothing against the product, (I love my RAZR), but they were basically diminished to a brand-name that is now owned by Lenovo.
