Genuine question: what has actually changed since the Israeli "ceasefire" in Gaza?

It coincided with a particularly busy period of my life so I wasn't paying much attention. Obviously Israel still breaches the ceasefire, but most Palestinians I follow at least seem to have gone back home. On the other hand Hamas supposedly agreed to hand over control to a new government, but I have seen no news about this new government being formed. Can somebody give me a heads up?
