Slept in today but when I (eventually) rolled out of bed I got right to my 30 minutes of rowing! It’s looking like winter might actually make an appearance so biking to and from school might be off the table until it melts, but I’ll gladly take that if I can savour an increasingly rare walk in the snow.
Now this is not meant as a gotchu or anything but im honestly curious. Shouldnt you take break days once in a while for the muscles to rest / regen ? Im a complete layman when it comes to fitness which is why im asking. Only started working out a couple of months ago.
I think that only really applies if you’re doing intensive exercise for say two-three hours a day.
No idea tbh. I am a complete amateur, I’m just following the ol’ 30 minutes of moderate activity a day guideline that I’ve heard from a few places. I’m not doing any serious weight lifting or intense runs, when I started rowing I most likely was in danger of trying to do too much too fast, but I took some advice from here and slowed down to a more sustainable pace.
I’m mainly going off vibes though. So far rowing every day is feeling better and better, but I’ve also been sticking to a more moderate pace. If I start feeling like I’ve plateaued or I’m going downhill I’ll revisit my program but as it is I’ve been feeling good so I figure I’ll stick to it.
YEEEEEEEAHHHH keep it up falgsconaut
Hell yea, that’s the plan! Thanks for the encouragement, I think posting here has really made a difference in my commitment this time around!
