EVERGREEN — The 16-year-old boy who shot two students and then himself at Evergreen High School this week appeared to espouse white supremacist views online and showed an interest in mass shooters in the days before the attack.

Social media accounts that appear to be connected to shooter Desmond Holly are littered with references to mass shootings and antisemitic views, The Denver Post found.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jacki Kelley on Thursday said Desmond had been “radicalized through an extremist network,” but declined to offer any additional details. The public accounts offer some insight into what that radicalization might have included.

In one photo posted on TikTok five days ago, Desmond appears to be wearing a black T-shirt with the word “Wrath” written in red across the chest — similar to what one of the attackers wore in the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School, also in Jefferson County. The same post also includes an image of the 15-year-old who killed two people and injured six more at a Madison, Wisconsin, school in December.

A post on X about an hour before Wednesday’s attack shows an image of a hand holding a revolver — the type of weapon that authorities confirmed Desmond used during the attack. Representatives for the sheriff’s office did not answer specific questions about the social media accounts.

The accounts also include references to Holocaust denial, and the name of one of the accounts appeared to end with a reference to a prominent white supremacist slogan. That account reposted several videos showing school shooting scenes from movies, as well as another video that appeared to show the two Columbine shooters taking target shots at bowling pins. Other videos the account reposted were explicitly antisemitic or depicted people in Nazi uniforms.

      pagan wheel

It’s not even pagan. if you’re talking about the Sonnerad, it was put on the floor of the castle Wewelsburg by the SS, after Himmler of the SS acquired it. The symbol originates with the nazis and is not “pagan” in origin, and even the sig runes are from the Armanen Futharkh, which were invented by an Austrian mysticist in… 1902. The pagan aspect of the nazi symbolism was always a LARP.

      CW: Nazi shit

Yeah I couldn’t remember the name just that it was some nazi bullshit that that they sometimes try to disclaim as pagan, especially when it showed up all over Ukrainian soldiers.

It’s a little concerning how much staying power the TP guy’s shooting has. I mean obviously the right was going to milk it for at least a week or two but they’re really, really harping on it HARD and the rest of the media is marching dutifully behind them in this and they’re really doing a full showing with doxxing and firing people.

It really does feel like a 9/11 type moment, a real shift has taken place that didn’t take place when Trump was nearly assassinated and hasn’t taken place in response to any other kind of shooting in the US. Nearest comparison might be after that shooting in an elementary school when all those really young kids were murdered and the liberals were like “this time there will definitely be change” and the chuds just responded with “nope” and that was that. But this time the chuds are marching with it and the liberals are dutifully following, the commentator class which includes every cable TV reporter and a ton of local ones are freaking the fuck out at the idea of hateful speech and violent political rhetoric having consequences. Murdering innocent kids for no reason just because you’re upset is fine and normal in this country but this is apparently an aberration we need to shut down now and severely punish anyone happy or even blithe about it.

I’m even a tad surprised it’s supplanted that much more horrific, chilling, objectively stomach-churning awful murder of that Ukrainian woman which unlike Kirk was truly chilling in the intensity and duration of the attack, violence, suffering, and death and the societal indifference of the disinterest of bystanders in intervening. Doubtless the reactionaries are going to run with both to argue we need to murder the homeless, get rid of non-whites, suppress and crush the left, and put god back in schools but the spectacle of the level of wailing and demands (which are met by liberals) for tears and canonizing of the TP guy as a saint is just a little startling even to me.

I guess we’ll see, if this is still going by end of Monday I think we’re really through the looking glass, if it’s over by then and we can only hope it is then maybe it was all just an over the top spectacle by the reactionaries. I just really hope the shooter’s politics cannot be established as even vaguely left and that they weren’t in a romantic relationship with any trans people (instantly viewed as a leftist no matter what by the right and a further excuse to focus hate on trans people).

It has been three and a half days.

Charlie Kirk was targeted for being a public figure and it appears politically motivated, so of course the bourgeoisie are going to make a bigger deal of that than what seems to be largely undirected violence. The same reason that we got a lot of talk about how political violence is dangerous when the pharma CEO that got shot, but with the difference a lot of people actually liked Charlie Kirk. Hard to get the average person up in arms about someone who was a largely unknown figurehead for a company that had denying healthcare as it’s major function. Nobody likes them.

I mean when you see who owns the legacy media you immediately see why they’re doing this.

The children are not the commentariat, and the commentariat is terrified that they may become the future targets of political violence, therefore they are going to do their best to exercise as much power as they can to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

The joke of course is on them because all this has done is demonstrate that they are vulnerable.
