Holy shit. Is this actually just another layer of a psyop? Are they going to start claiming that China tricked the US into thinking that this was happening and use the fact that it isn’t happening as an example of “China bad”?

I recall something I saw a Chinese person say (he may have been a professor, politician, etc, maybe someone famous I SHOULD know but…don’t), that America (the West?) hate the Chinese and they hate muslims, so why would they care about Chinese muslims? And like…yeah, on point.

Additionally, apparently Uyghurs and North Koreans in China can’t work everywhere over there because thanks to America having a ban on factories that employ Uyghurs and North Koreans (under the claim it’s slavery), it means they struggle to find work.

‘I hope America helps you’ should become a saying that conveys wishing someone misfortune.

This is pretty much the whole point of most targeted sanctions campaigns, create instability in the targeted region among the targeted population.

Yeah, It’s so transparently about destabilization. In worst case it’s meant to force people into a very dangerous confrontation with these “dictators”. Basically using civilians as cannon fodder.

And notice how sanction i.e. collective punishment against the population, are always used against “dictatorships” where the population presumably have no say. It’s never used against “democracies” where the population supposedly have voted for what their governments do. Strange that.

Like how liberals talk about how the Taliban are oppressing women and then immediately start sanctioning Afghanistan and causing food shortages. I’m sure the women are treated even better during even harder times.

Oh the original quote, George Yeo, former Singaporean minister, attributed it to someone else

An Italian professor in Chengdu said ‘it’s quite interesting,’ take it in the right spirit. ‘You know it is the Chinese, the Americans are not known to love Chinese - they’re not known to love Muslims, but somehow they love Chinese Muslims a lot’

They even named one of the most famous Chinese pork dishes Hui Guo Rou after the Hui people as a dire insult. Absolutely execrable behaviour by the Han majority

(under the claim it’s slavery), it means they struggle to find work.

Which is intentional, it means that the US press can find a disgruntled Uyghur worker and interview them and use US’s actions as proof that China is racist against Uyghurs.

      Might have been Zhang Weiwei.

Edit: Ignore me, read below. Gonna leave comment as an example of why we should read through whole ass threads before posting. Hahaha, but I do remember watching Zhang saying more or less the same.

We’ve shot right past Kafkaesque, went through the looking glass and are at full Carrolesque:

“Alice laughed. ‘There’s no use trying,’ she said. ‘One can’t believe impossible things.’

I daresay you haven’t had much practice,’ said the Queen. 'When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

(posted by Wyatt Reed according to my notes)

while looking for it I also found this video of a Kamala supporter screaming “I don’t give a fuck about Gaza, b*tch!” at a toddler

Again with the Uyghur psy ops bullshit. After GHF, after years of killing Palestinians, other muslims elsewhere in the arab world and USAians overt hatred towards muslims and the Chinese, they really care about chinese muslims though.
