“World must be more wary than ever of China’s growing economic power” and they open with the sickest picture of China I’ve ever seen. Seriously look at that crystal blue sea.

The headline was kinda silly but I actually laughed at the sub headline.

China might, by some, be considered the great provider, but its pseudo-communist regime is a malign actor on the international stage,

What did they do that makes them malign? surely there must be evidence that they are evil.

Wonder if it’s the fact that they haven’t been at war since the 70s, or had the fastest rise in the standard of living the humanity has ever seen, that China is actively helping Global South develop, or perhaps that it’s is the only major nation actually transitioning off fossil fuels in a meaningful way…

China’s moving up the value chain.

    1. First they ignore you
    2. Then they laugh at you <-- YOU WERE HERE
    3. Then they fight you <-- YOU ARE HERE
    4. Then you win

The fear I have is they realize this and decide to take that chance.

I’m going to be livid in the next life if my existence was ended in a nuclear firestorm becuase some investors thought the numbers on their screen were too low for the past 3 months.

I mean they were planning a war with china in 2027. And the CIA suspects that Taiwan will be reintegrated in 2026/7.

Without tough action, its voracious appetite for resources, information and intellectual capital will eat all of us.

lol, judging from this piece I don’t think Phil actually has too much to worry about there…
