I'm a big fan of the BioShock trilogy and plan on getting the System Shock 2 console remaster next week since I've always heard it was a big inspiration: Anything I should know before going in?

I plan on playing the remake of the 1st eventually too, I've just heard BioShock takes more after 2 specifically than 1, and that the games are fairly stand-alone so I won't be too lost just jumping in at the sequel.
