You’re not a good driver if you look at your phone whilst driving.
But it was ten buzzes! What is she supposed to do, not glance?!
Though, if she’s driving close enough to a person that a quick glance is going to cause an accident, she’s definitely a bad driver.
So 99% of people on the road. Even when they are not looking at their phone people don’t understand what a safe following distance is. The amount of times I’ve had to try to explain to my friends that no this is not a safe following distance you are currently less than 2 seconds at your current speed from them is infuriating.
The amount of people who will go around me when I maintaining a four-second following distance because I’m not tailgating the car in front of me is equally infuriating.
I’ll be honest,
If I’m driving down a frequently used route, and the person in front of me is going 5-8 mph slower than i usually do
I’ll go into “autopilot” and start to creep up on them.
If i realize I’m doing it, I’ll back away
Nor type on it.
Since when are they purple?
Since the accident.
