Huge money saver by making own certain scratch pads etc… Just gotta attach this to a round and heavy piece of plank and voila! Reletvily easy to do and the rope is cheap as chips!

      I’ve found it’s quite effective to cover stuff you don’t want scratched with something that isn’t nice to scratch.

      Once the cat forms the habit of scratching the right stuff, you can uncover your furniture, and at least with my cat, the habit has stuck. Only goes for the stuff that’s allowed, now.

        I had great success with double sided packing tape. A few strips where the cat liked to claw and a nearby scratching post completely eliminated scratching where they weren’t supposed to.

      Hahaha yeah hopefully not 😅 This is the first on multiple, also got a scratch tower and a scractable carpet. So hopefully that will be enough.
