directly improving these farmer’s material conditions.
i know they are basically under siege from western backed insurgency but i can’t help but think this might have the nice side effect of building a massive popular front to back the government. the kind that might form dedicated militias and stuff
Apparently they already have impromptu volunteer civilian militias patrolling the streets of Ouagadougou to defend against coup attempts on the Traoré government. The Burkinabe people are very politically conscious right now.
They already pretty much have that going on, people outside the country have his support so it’s just a matter of getting the domestic supporters equipped and organized to defend the movement.
