Do companies pay per token for their customer service AIs?

If so, has anyone created something which you can run on your computer like folding@home which continuously and automatically chats with all of the customer service AI bots to waste their money? I assume they eventually rate limit you, and this is a terrible use of resources in general, but it would be funny if it worked.
