I couldn’t help but end up comparing this to Oshi no Ko as I was reading it. This is a regression rather than reincarnation, but at a high level, it’s similar. The other striking resemblance was how attempted suicide was handled.

This panel reminded me so much of Akane just before she jumped from the overpass and ended up getting saved by Aqua.
