No downside to this line of thinking. I mean two nuclear armed states having a bit of mutually assured genocide? Galaxy brain time y’all

Does anybody have a halfway decent source for India Pakistan stuff.

According to reddit India is doing almost as well as ukraine was at the beginning of the invasion. India had already totally wiped out Pakistans air force without losing a single troop or piece of equipment and every single gle thing Pakistan has claimed has been a lie according to them.

Crazy how these massive conflicts are always so totally one sided.

Is there a reason Reddit would side with one over the other? With Ukraine there’s the obvious Russia Bad explanation, is it cuz Pakistan is more Muslim than India?

Justbfrom seeing what pops up on r/all seems like there’s a disproportionate Indian population on reddit.

Disproportionate from the standpoint of an American website I mean. Obviously all other things being equal you’d expect to see a significant amount of Indian people anywhere. But I see multiple subreddits specifically about India showing up on main, and half the time when it’s in English it’s some of the most racist shit I’ve ever seen on reddit.

Yup, but has a border dispute with China and China openly sells and develops weapons that have just thoroughly embarrassed India on the world stage. Im surprised there wasnt my more diplomatic fallout like when people found out HMS Prince of Wales was sank by an Argentinian Exocet missile produced in France.

Yea i knew about the planes getting shot down its what made me realize reddit was worse than useless on the topic.

48 hours of headlines trickling in and it was “India claims to have wiped out Pakistan entire AA infrastructure”

“Pakistan claims it shot down jets”

“Iindia insists that no jets were shot down and that all posted videos are from previous events, India didn’t lose any jets and destroyed a punch of Pakistan infrastructure”

“Multiple independant sources including the manufacturer of the jets and the country that supplied the jets confirm the jets were shot down”

“No jets were shot down and anybody who says otherwise is a terrorist” - worldnews

Strikingly similar to how ukraine has been 48 hours from victory and Russia has been on the eve of total collapse for 3 years now while in reality Russia has just made slow continuous progress for almost the entire time.
