    I’m nowhere near an expert at this type of stuff, but I assume some form of signal blocking device could work, so long as you don’t mind blocking your phone’s signal. Assuming it doesn’t have local storage and relies on something like a cell tower signal, cutting the signal might be the best option.

      Depending on the local laws these kind of devices can be illegal and turn you into a walking beacon. So be careful and be aware of any risks.

      FYI messing with communicating infrastructure, such as by jamming phone signals, is highly illegal and most networks are actively being monitored for disturbances.
