I know this is gonna sound weird, considering, but is there any kind of reason for the obsession with owls on hexbear outside of them being incredibly interesting and adorable? Like a symbolic thing?
(Without going into too much detail and doxxing myself, I use the name owl because it’s the English translation of my actual name, so I am surprised to see it all over the place here)
Idk comrade owl, but from what I’ve seen so far, I think we all really like owls. And people like @Dirt_Owl@hexbear.net keep us informed and interested in them
They are very interesting, so that makes perfect sense. Well, I’ll chip in.
Like all birds, owls are dinosaurs. I have spent an inordinate amount of my lifespan imagining what an owl would look like as a prehistoric therapod.
I was happy to discover that Prehistoric Planet included a rendition of just such a thing, with their interpretation of mononykus.
