Honestly i just had to block /cats. It was 95% of the front page

Is it like a coordinated effort to drown out politics, whats the angle here?
I don’t think it was coordinated.
It feels like someone shared a photo, others felt inspired to share, and it snowballed since then
Snowballed is the wrong word. Collapsed into a black hole seems more appropriate, considering the subject matter.
Void is a stupid thing to call a cat. Like come on guys be original there are other ways of saying “nothing” and centuries worth of racist ways to say black.
yeah guys why don’t we just call our cats the hard r, that’s much better
thought it was clear that was sarcasm. Left out the /s thinking “I can’t just say black without knowing where this would obviously be headed”

My aunt when she was a kid named her black cat Nothing.
So when her dad, who didn’t like cats in the house, asked what that sound was from her room she would say ’oh that was nothing’.
This story gets trotted out every holiday.
