Dad GHO and a Crow in a standoff. There were 5 Crows harassing and diving at him that day. He stood his ground and snapped at them when they came close. Hooting at them as they left. 2/26/2025 Cuyahoga County Ohio
Got to meet a resident owl at the clinic this weekend. We got told not to stare at him too much as he’s a bit moody and will swoop at your face, claws out, and crash into the cage in front of you. 😯
As soon as I got out of my car, I heard his glorious hooting though, and it was the perfect welcome to my volunteering. 🥰

Crows can be so silly sometimes. Like, guys they eat small rodents you are safe!
I’ve seen my murder going after bald eagles. Granted the young eagles have bothered the ducks and geese on the pond… but still!
I do like the crows. They’re just looking out for their own, same as everybody. But I’m the owl representative, so I gotta stick with my crew in this case. 😆
