I’m on the fence with dewalt. Their tools are pretty cheap in comparison, but the batteries seem to be hit and miss. One hand drill i had i absolutely abused for years. It still works, it’s just not a precision tool anymore. Like i used it as a concrete mixer, and to drill 200mm holes into wooden floorboards.
Bosh is a absolutr winner for me. I had hilti power drills before and they were “good” but super expensive. Also i had one drill that i had for like 3 years, but only used it like 4 times to drill holes into concrete. It stopped working and i gave it to a hilti guy to see what’s up. He said it never got serviced and it should be every year, and the repair was more expensive than the new bosh drill i bought. That drill i used for 10 years or more now. I use and abuse it almost every day, it has never seen a drop of oil or a service or anything.
Also +1 for knipex. At this point everything not knipex is a waste of money to me. I already had a lot of knipex stuff, then i saw the video from the torque test channel (i think). And knipex was the only tool that passed the test.
