Never heard of any of these except for Klarna and that was only because of shady business practices and privacy concerns …
There’s also Vipps MobilePay. MobilePay was created by Danish bank Danske Bank. They merged with Vipps to form Vipps MobilePay. It’s confusingly enough called MobilePay in Denmark and Finland, and Vipps in Norway and Sweden. It’s a mobile app you can use to send money between users and make payments in both online and brick and mortar stores that support it. I think it supports NFC payments in Norway and later this year in Finland.
I submitted it to the site.
It uses credit/debit cards in the background to move the money
That’s a good point. It has been possible to use bank transfers for some transactions, and apparently they are bringing that possibility for all transactions later this year, at least in Finland. That should leave those credit/debit card companies outside the loop.
Nice!
I think the site is broken
Works for me
very strange
