I have to be frank… Turkey is beautiful and the food is sure to be amazing, but everything I’ve heard about the Turkish people has been rather discouraging…

I did end up reading an article that said that I can expect young people in the cities and several people in tourist destinations to speak English. I wonder how fluent the average Istanbul resident is.
