Congrats everyone! There is still a long way ahead and but it is a great starting point. Honestly, I’ve always been curious about decentralizing and digging into alternative services and the current situation has been a nice pretext to actually change things.
The most difficult part will be to keep the things going and keep Lemmy communities alive by actively posting, commenting, etc.
You are making all those meme communities look like slackers!
Personally i wish other communities related to free software were there in the top, to me this buy european thing looks like a slippery slope into nationalism

Suprised no ML community is in the top 10. Back when I joined it felt like ML was much more active than it feels now.
They haven’t been that active for a while. It’s usually mostly LW and the top communities of a few instances (e.g. !europe@feddit.org )
