As an American, I also like buying European made stuff.
Especially the beer. So much higher quality than some of the carbonated swill we call beer. cough cough budweiser cough
I’ve heard a story about how Heineken opened a brewery in the US, but lost the “Imported” label because of it. Their sales went down. Then they closed it and opened one in Canada and one in Mexico, importing the same beer to the US. They got the label back and sales went back up.
