I always assumed it would end in a more literal way.
Just someone popping a cyanide pill with a smile, and a “Fuck you, we’re done”.
I could see them actually doing this.
At the very least they should take the month off. It’s an excuse to fuck with people, on-brand, by doing nothing.

Or insisting the series ended and there will never be another Cy&H strip, whenever someone asks. While keeping a normal schedule.

You don’t get it man, this comic is actually a fairly sophisticated reference to C&H’s classic character, the Purple-Shirted Eye-Stabber.
