I don’t get it. The RoK is hyper-capitalistic. The authoritarian nature of her history is why capitalism was adopted so thoroughly; you couldn’t speedrun industrialization in a democracy. And today she has a toxic work culture to rival Japan married to a consumerism that may surpass America.
I’m guessing there’s a companion peice to go with this graph that discusses that there are a lot of socialist policies in place in SoKo. For example, they have some very progressive childcare policies and universal healthcare.
