According to the theory of quantum immortality, everyone gets their own main-character timeline.
Karen: “I’M THE MAIN CHARACTER!”
Manager: “But not in this timeline, ma’am.”
Quantum immortality is just solopsism, with the added twist of watching all your loved ones die
Hard pass
Also, in most timelines you’re dead or never existed.
That’s the best part, you have way more timelines where you aren’t the MC so there’s basically a 0% chance you’re in one now.
Great.
So how do I get there?
would tell you, but don’t want you to be greeted by quite literally infinite versions of you
A main character, this is an ensemble cast. Just don’t let the red shirts know…
It’s an MMORPG, we’re all the main characters.
Spoken like a side character. The real question tho is are you a krillin or a yamcha?
SENSU BEAN!
(I mean, Krillin FUCKS)
No one wants to be Yamcha…
Well… Early Yamcha. Hmm
“Hey, krillin, Iiiiii sensu have a problem…” “Gggrrrrgrggrgruggle”
Or an extra who’s so inconsequential that the writers haven’t bothered to give you a story arc.
I’d personally like to believe that I’m preparing to be the wise mentor for a younger hero.
Aww man, that means you’re basically guaranteed to be killed by the villain, giving the hero an impetus to fight.
At least you’ll give them a final nugget of wisdom with your last breath that will help the hero in a moment of crisis.
I’ll continue to guide them from the spirit realm 👻
very much same. These tend to be the most interesting types of people.
Too bad my life is a horror story.
me walking around the workshop with the new apprentice:
Empirically, I’m immortal.
