Asking in advance.
Washing it off at any point is saying you don’t love them.
Fuck that’s what I feared.
Well at least when you funeral happens you can save money on the make up the mortician does?
Modern research actually recommends having it permanently tattooed in place.
Until they’re on to the next thing, or about 10 minutes
These answers are funny. And yes, the real true answer is after a billion years.
The less cool answer is that it’s a great opportunity to talk to your kids about bodily autonomy. You’re in control of how you want your body to look, same as your child. Obviously don’t say, “Well this makeup is trash. SEE YA! wipe wipe wipe” Maybe talk about what you like and what you don’t.
But remember that the actual answer is that you’re not allowed to wash it off.
Sounds like an opportunity for them to learn how to clean off makeup!
Never
Personally, I’d let them sleep in makeup. It’s the equivalent of letting your kid burn their hand on the hot stove. Warn them that if they don’t wash off their makeup before bed, it’ll get itchy in the morning, but give them the freedom to make that choice and learn from it.
Oh, the kid probably knows well enough to take the makeup off of themselves, but when they put it on you, either this is the new you now or you hate them. No middle ground.
