One week after bail and a small stability update from trans refugees in Juba Sudan.
Hey family
I just wanted to check in first … I hope everyone here has been okay this week. Things have felt a little quieter on our side compared to the chaos of last week. Charity is still resting and slowly getting her strength back.
I’m still carrying a lot of gratitude for how you all showed up for her. Because of you, she’s home with us. That relief hasn’t left my heart.
I feel a little shy writing again but I want to stay honest about where we are. After putting everything toward the bail, our food supplies are now very low.
Prices for basics here have gone up recently and even simple things like rice and cooking oil cost more than they did just weeks ago. We’ve been stretching what we have carefully.
We’re hoping to raise $185 to restock groceries rice, flour, beans and oil enough to carry us through the week.
Thank you for continuing to stand with us. Truly
