How the RCAF trains for high-risk maritime rescues - Skies Mag

Commonly referred to as “Boat Camp,” the tightly coordinated exercise involved two Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CH-149 Cormorant long-range helicopters, dozens of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and civilian defence team aircraft maintainers, numerous ships and personnel of the Canadian Coast Guard, boats and members from the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, and volunteers from the non-profit Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA).
