Trying not to end up homeless again.

I haven't done this before, so I'm sorry if it doesn't work this way, but my wife and I and our cats are in a bad spot. The apartment we live in is a hellhole and now it's been bought out by a new company. They're kicking people out left, right, and center for renovations. They said it'll take months and we just all have to prepare. We don't have anything in savings and we wouldn't be able to afford a hotel or storage units. Plus they're upping the rent and that's it's own problem. I found another unit in a different complex just up the way, and the landlord there said they'd take us, but we need $2,500 for the deposit, first month rent, and pet fee. We're good for the monthly amounts, we just don't have anything saved up, as I'm the only one who works, and we both have health conditions. The move in is literally the first of the upcoming month and if we get this now we don't have to worry about snipers. Otherwise we're ending up homeless and that's clearly not ideal. If you can send anything it's much appreciated. We're trying to do this as soon as possible.
