I desperately need bloomer literature / pls tell me things will get better

I was talking with a lib american friend (older than me, for context) that lives in my town (in

), who i thought was somewhat based bc shes poc and understands systematic racism + complains about how her brother is maga

i started to complain about how fucked the housing market is and how there was an entire system based on selling spanish houses to richer european ppl so they rented them to us, and basically that i didnt want to live with my parents till im in my late thirties bc of a fucked system.

she libbed out and started saying that in spain we dont work enough, and that i thought that because im jealous, and now im pretty depressed bc she was the only one i had enough confidence to be mildly open about my political thoughts

so basically pls help me feel better

anyone with similar stories is welcome to tell them in here as well if they feel comfortable
