Tochiongar Seven - Sorrowful Dog Beast Man!! Part 1 + 2 - This is a toku show about a superhero fox in a fursuit and this specific episode is about a formerly abused dog looking for revenge. (CW: No graphic animal abuse or anything but discusses bad owner mistreating his dog.)

Ninja Sentai Kakuranger - New Year's Manga Hell - They fight an evil manga artist monster, or something. It looks hilarious. This is the episode that has the "Today is Friday in California" clip. No CWs that I'm aware of.

Kodai Shoujo Dogu-chan - Ancient Girl Dogu-chan fights an evil crab monster/factory owner who is exploiting workers. Has the Marx Beam scene, and the whole episode is basically Marxist toku which is rad. (CW: Worker exploitation)

Millennium Actress (2001) - Satoshi Kon film about an elderly actress looking back at her life. (CW: Non-graphic scenes of war and destruction)
